Egypt's Government Services Portal

The e-government portal of Egypt focuses on delivering effective and efficient interactive services to the public. The development of the portal is part of a reform and adjustment programme to modernize the Egyptian Government by making use of new technologies.

The result envisioned is the provision and delivery of better government services that meets the demands of the citizens. The services provided is availabl through the Internet, but a mobile version of the portal also provide some services.

To broaden the scope of available digital services the Egyptian Government has also developed some services that is delivered via SMS, including government job vacancies and the government tender service.
